This one-of-a-kind opportunity to travel with our team to Churchill, Manitoba, the polar bear capital of the world, will enhance your understanding of polar bears, the sea ice they depend on, and how together, we can ensure their future.

Oct. 28: Arrive in Winnipeg / tour of Canada Goose manufacturing plan / welcome dinner / overnight – Winnipeg

Oct. 29: Depart from Winnipeg to Churchill / Tundra Buggy™  adventure / Reception at Polar Bears International House / Overnight – Churchill

Oct. 30: Serve hot breakfast at local school / Dog sledding / Itsanitaq Museum / Churchill area tour / Overnight – Churchill

Oct. 31: Tundra Buggy adventure / depart from Churchill / group dinner / overnight – Winnipeg

Expedition Highlights

  • Tour of Canada Goose manufacturing facility, followed by welcome dinner in Winnipeg with your fellow colleagues, tour guide, and Polar Bears International staff.

  • An evening reception at Polar Bears International House with PBI staff and a special presentation with a local Indigenous Knowledge Keeper.

  • Two days of Tundra Buggy adventure exploring the Churchill Wildlife Management Area in search of polar bears, arctic fox, ptarmigan, and other Subarctic wildlife. Enjoy lunch, warm drinks, and snacks throughout the day.

  • Exclusive Churchill and area tour to local and historical points of interest, including the Itsanitaq Museum, which houses one of the most extensive collections of Inuit art in the world.

  • Ample opportunities to take stunning photographs of polar bears and their Subarctic environment. Our team will ensure you capture the perfect images to document and share your experience.

  • In-field lectures from Polar Bears International experts, including a tour of their human-polar bear coexistence work and the new Tundra Buggy One EV.

  • Authentic dog sled adventure and interpretive program, hosted by Dave Daley, a long-time Churchill resident, Métis, and dogsledding expert.

  • Special opportunity to join Polar Bears International staff in cooking and serving a hot breakfast for Churchill youth at the local school.
