Celebrate Polar Bear Week with Discovery Education and Polar Bears International in a dynamic event designed to spark curiosity and deepen understanding of animal adaptations through art and science. Broadcasting live from Churchill, Manitoba, acclaimed wildlife artist and former Disney animator Aaron Blaise will guide students through a hands-on drawing lesson comparing polar bears and brown bears, while exploring how these animals have evolved to thrive in very different environments.
As Aaron sketches and shares insights from his career, students will discover how art can be a powerful tool for learning and advocacy while experiencing the connection from classroom learning to real-world science and conservation efforts.
Perfect for grades K–8, this interactive experience blends creativity, environmental education, and career inspiration — inviting students to see the world through both scientific and artistic lenses.
