Time to Care

Special edition charity watch collection supports polar bear conservation

At the heart of BERING's collaboration with Polar Bears International is a shared commitment to protecting the Arctic environment and its iconic inhabitant, the polar bear. Since the brand was founded in 2010 and thus the beginning of the partnership, BERING has been fully committed to the cause. For every charity watch sold, BERING donates US$15  to support Polar Bears International’s mission to sustain a future for polar bears and the  sea ice they depend on.

From the commencement of the partnership, BERING has contributed almost $350,000 toward polar bear conservation, reflecting the collective impact that can be achieved when businesses and conservation organizations work hand in hand.

Michael Witt Johansen, founder and owner of BERING said, "Our collaboration with Polar Bears International fills us with immense pride. As a brand inspired by the beauty of the Arctic, it is our responsibility to contribute to its protection. We want to raise awareness of the urgent need to protect polar bears through these charity watches.”

Polar Bears & the Changing Arctic

Big, brilliant, and built for cold, polar bears are the very symbol of a wild Arctic. Yet despite their size and strength, they need our help to survive the coming decades.

Inspired to Act?

You may wonder, “What else can I do?” Polar Bears International’s team of scientists and experts are here to assure you that it’s not too late and there is good news. By working together, we can help protect polar bears and their sea ice home.
