Our Team Jessie Kalinowski Science Assistant Jessie started at Polar Bears International in 2020 as an intern, helping run errands, send shipments, and pet the office dogs. After several years working as an operations assistant in both Bozeman and Churchill and completing her undergraduate degree in Applied Math at University of Utah in 2026, she is now a science assistant. Jessie is currently working on an individual-based model of polar bear movement across sea ice to help optimize telemetry deployment. Based loosely in Bozeman, Montana, she enjoys exploring nearby mountains through running, skiing, and camping.
