Chad van Gessel

Chad van Gessel is a fourth-year wildlife management student at the University of Applied Sciences Van Hall Larenstein in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. He is particularly interested in animal behavior and animal welfare. He has done internships in in both fields. For animal welfare he worked for five months at CROW, a rescue and rehabilitation center for wildlife in Durban, South Africa. Recently he completed a five-month study of mother and cub vocalizations at Dierenrijk, a zoo near the city of Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
