Wednesday Shout-Out, April 9, 2014 {Bake Sale for Polar Bears}

On (some) Wednesdays, we like to give a shout-out to people that are making a difference for polar bears. Often, these people are young and inspired.

Second graders, Zomaya and Sophia were concerned about the plight of polar bears and decided to do something about it. Together with other students from Beethoven Street Elementary School in Los Angeles, they held a bake sale to raise funds for Polar Bears International. We appreciate the donation and are excited to see young people doing good in their world.

If you know kids (or adults) who want to help polar bears, we have a list of action and fundraising projects to get them started.
