Trees for You and Me Challenge

Trees for You and Me Challenge

Trees for You and Me is a friendly competition launched by PBI Ambassadors and American Association of Zoo Keepers' Chapters.

The challenge raises money to:

  • Prevent deforestation
  • Support reforestation efforts
  • Fund plantings in tropical rainforests
  • Encourage community involvement

Local AAZK Chapters can host events to raise funds for Trees for You and Me between February 1st and November 1st each year. Chapters often hold events in coordination with International Polar Bear Day, February 27th, and Polar Bear Week, the first full week of November. The funds raised will go towards the Trees for You and Me Grant administered through the AAZK. This grant furthers AAZK’s and PBI’s quest to fight climate change by asking for grant applicants that will use it for reforestation and habitat revitalization. Get the information you need, here.

The application for the Trees for You and Me grant is due by May 1st and will be awarded to the recipient of the Trees for You and Me grant on December 1st.

Our thanks to all participating AAZK Chapters!
