U.S. Advocacy Corner

Live in the United States? Become an engaged community member and advocate on behalf of polar bears with these tools.

Contact Your Representatives

Regardless of whether or not you share similar views with your elected representatives, it is important for them to hear from you and to learn what you care about. This ensures they are in sync with your needs and allows them to better advocate for their community. Write your national, state, and local representatives a letter or email, call their office, or pay them a visit in person, if possible.

Get Registered to Vote

You can register to vote and help register other people as well! Expanding voter registration fosters community-based leadership and helps ensure elected representatives reflect the diversity and needs of your community.

Write a Letter to the President

Urge President Biden to set a fair price on carbon—for polar bears and people. The United States is one of the world’s biggest polluters, and policies set in the United States have an impact around the globe.
