Adventure Learning Camp Teacher

Kathy Myers has made a career of helping young people find their way in the world. Whether leading hikes at a nature center or directing teen interns in the San Diego Zoo's internship programs, she enjoys discovering what interests people and then setting them on the path to find what they want. Her work with Polar Bears International has focused on creating meaningful and impactful programs.

The year 2007 will be Kathy's second year as a team member for PBI's Leadership Camp. In addition to visiting the Far North, Kathy has traveled to Australia and China, and to many corners of North America, in pursuit of seeing animals in their home habitats. Kathy lives in San Diego with her wonderful husband Matt. Working in the education department at the San Diego Zoo allows her to be close to all of the animals she admires and to connect people with wildlife and conservation.
