An adventure- and event-filled week in the Polar Bear Capital of the World is open to outstanding students selected by participating Arctic Ambassador Centers around the world. Teen campers are usually selected from exceptional young people who are active in the Centers’ own volunteer or leadership programs.
About Teen Leadership Camp:
- Designed to inform, inspire, and empower students to motivate change within their communities especially with regard to the effects of climate change on polar bears
- Promotes communication and presentation skills, confidence, teamwork, and creativity
- Develops lifetime skills and lifelong memories
- Minimum requirements: Must be 16 years old by first day of camp; must have a passport, a record of leadership, an interest in conservation, a drive for change, computer skills, and a sense of humor!
- Costs are minimal; PBI and its sponsors cover most fees
