This 57-page document covers all aspects of caring for polar bears in zoos. Topics range from exhibit design to health, nutrition, reproduction, and behavioral enrichment. AZA's Bear TAG created the manual in association with the AZA Animal Welfare Committee. PBI helped with funding.
