Across the U.S. ... for the Bears!

Talk about completely unplugging: Sarah Cooperman, one of our Leadership Camp grads, is nearly midway through a 3,000-mile bike ride across the U.S., from Tybee Island, Georgia, to the Santa Monica Pier in California, as part of an Overland Summers bike tour. She's dedicating her journey to raising climate change awareness and is taking photos of Paulie, the plush bear she bought at PBI Leadership Camp in Churchill, polar bear capital of the world, at various locations across the U.S.

"That way, PBI's amazing message could come along for the ride and hopefully touch people across the country," she says. "Each day I reflect on the lessons I gained while training to be an Arctic Ambassador at Leadership Camp with much appreciation. The progress that countless Arctic Ambassadors have made so far inspires me to keep pushing on, even as the hills get bigger as we enter the territory of the Ozark Mountain Range in Arkansas."

Way to go, Sarah! We'll be thinking of you as you reach the Rockies.
