Shared Planet Supports Polar Bear Conservation

Shared Planet, the first cosmetics brand to put the pursuit of environmental and social change before all else, recently became a Platinum Sponsor of Polar Bears International. As part of its commitment to threatened and endangered wildlife, the company donates 10 percent of its sales to conservation organizations, including Polar Bears International.

Better still, this year, in the spirit of giving, the company has announced a special holiday give-back program. The promotion, which starts on November 22, 2019, offers early-access customers 40 percent off site-wide, with free shipping and double gifting to charity partners such as Panthera and Polar Bears International.

“We give back 10% of each sale, every day. But for the holidays, we wanted to double that charity component as a way to show our dedication to Shared Planet’s cause and allow the customers to feel even better about their holiday gifting this year,” said Aashna Sharma, Founder of Shared Planet. “We are so proud of the support and attention we have received thus far and hope this promotion, along with the incredible quality of our products, will help people become devoted to the Shared Planet brand and its mission.”

Krista Wright, executive director of Polar Bears International, said Shared Planet’s generosity will help with the nonprofit’s research and outreach, benefiting wild polar bears worldwide.

“As their name suggests, Shared Planet understands that we are all connected—and that what affects polar bears in the Arctic ultimately affects people too,” Wright said. “By taking action on the climate crisis to help save the sea ice that polar bears rely on, we’ll improve conditions for countless other species, including humans.

“We owe it to our children and grandchildren to leave them with a safe and stable climate—and with polar bears roaming in the Arctic, always.”

Customers can sign up for the promotion on the Shared Planet website.
